I havent been baking.....

Robin and I started weight watchers on Jan 5th. We've been eating really boring foods like salads, chicken, fish, veggies and some weight watcher/lean cuisine frozen meals. Boring, but its working. I havent baked anything( even low fat stuff) since I started. I miss baking a lot, but I dont want the temptation. I'll be offering some Valentine Baking for sale so do check back.

  1. I usually cut back on my baking when I diet, too. Lately I've been trying to just focus on making things my kids like that I don't find as appealing, or making food and sending most of it to my husband's office. (I guess the recurring theme here is that everyone around me will soon be getting fatter!) It allows me to enjoy the process of baking without gaining the bulk!

  2. Can't say I blame you. I've cut back substantially on baking since the first of the year. You may want to check out Cooking Light for some recipes to add variety to your meals. I've had pretty good success with their recipes.

  4. You're a strong woman! No really, my blogs looks like all I do it bake, bake, bake and well, I do bake a lot, but haven't been eating as much of it and I cook some darn healthy meals! I also workout everyday. Still, I'm sure it would really help me to just stop baking for a while.

  8. Randi, I don't have the nutrition info on those Barney Butter, agave cookies, but they are probably about 100 calories each, I'm totally guessing, because I used to do the Biggest Loser program online and got pretty good at figuring stuff out, They are probably 15-20 carbs each and 2-4 grams of fat. Hope that helps.

  12. You're a stronger woman than I. I still have this "need" to bake. But you're right, too many bites go in my mouth. Well, I can't give something away that I haven't tried! ;)
    You rock.
